J-Head hotend
The hotend kit of a 3d printer is an important component of a 3d printer
It consists of a positioning zone, a feeding zone, a fusing zone and an enrichment zone. The positioning zone is used for the initial positioning of the filament, so that the filament can enter the feeding zone in an accurate and smooth manner.
The feed zone consists of an active gear and a driven bearing wheel with a specific gap between the two wheels, the size of which should be sufficient to allow the wire to move steadily forward under the action of the clamping friction F of the two wheels.
the melt zone consists of a throat channel, a stabilising frame, a heat insulation layer and a heating block where the unmelted and molten filament material forms a piston action in the channel, forcing the filament material to be ejected from the nozzle
The enrichment area consists of the nozzle, table and workpiece. During the enrichment printing process, the X and Y directions are controlled by the nozzle movement and the Z direction, i.e. the thickness of each layer printed, is controlled by the up and down movement of the table.
